A double round-robin system (home and away) is adopted. 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. Rankings are determined by the total points accumulated. If points are equal, the rankings are determined in the following order: a) Higher number of points obtained in head-to-head matches; b) Higher number of wins; c) Superior goal difference; d) Higher number of goals scored; e) A play-off match; if it remains a draw during regular time, a penalty shootout will be conducted immediately. 2025-26 ACL & Relegation Slots: (I) The champion and runner-up of the 2025-26 season will directly qualify for the 2026-27 AFC Champions League Elite; (II) The third-placed team of the 2025-26 season will directly qualify for the 2026-27 AFC Champions League Two; (II) The 2025-26 Thai FA Cup champion will qualify for the 2026-27 AFC Champions League Elite Play-offs. If the champion has already qualified through the league, the slot will be passed down to the second-placed league team; (III) The bottom three teams of the league will be relegated to the Thai League 2.
